Description

Situated at the bottom of the Acropolis' southern slope, this spectacular museum features surviving artifacts from the Archaic to the Roman period. It emphasizes the 5th century BC Acropolis, considered the peak of Greece's artistic expression. Through floor-to-ceiling windows, visitors can observe the Acropolis and view the ancient ruins below the museum. For a reasonable price, visitors can also experience the amazing views from the restaurant.
