Head to this park near the coast for a great family outing. There are plenty of playground activities, a summer puppet theatre, and an outdoor cinema. The closest beach to downtown Athens is just east, accessible via the tram at Mousson stop. It's more on the smaller side and quite rocky, but there's a promenade nearby where locals take their evening walks. Enjoy the fresh breeze from the sea in a nice reprieve from the city center.
