The Drachma, a venerable currency, is at the heart of this museum which covers the history of money from ancient times to the present day. There is a brief reference to the Euro era, and the mid-20th century banknotes are especially beautiful. In addition, the museum often hosts temporary exhibitions which highlight the artists involved in creating money.
