The magnificent 1881 mansion designed by architect Ernst Ziller, the home of Heinrich Schliemann, the archaeologist who excavated Troy, is of great interest not only for its collection of coins from ancient to modern times, but also for its mosaic floors, painted walls and ceilings, each adorned with classical motifs.
