Description

The Benizelos home, built in the 17th century and reopened in 2017 after renovations, features typical domestic features from that time period. Visitors can explore the dirt-floor rooms downstairs that boast wine and olive presses, as well as the wood-panelled living rooms upstairs. Take notice of the repurposed classical columns that adorn the gate opening to the backyard, which used to be an olive grove. Although it is a worthwhile free activity, visitors should be aware of the limited opening hours.
