The exquisite Temple of Athena Nike, designed by Kallicrates and made of white Pentelic marble, is situated at the southwest edge of the Acropolis. Constructed between 427 BC and 424 BC, the building is almost square with four graceful Ionic columns at each end and located in front and to the right of the Propylaia.
