Description

Visiting the Temple of Olympian Zeus in Athens is a must-see, as it is not only the largest temple in Greece, but it is also centrally-located. Out of its original 104 Corinthian columns (each 17 meters tall with a base diameter of 1.7 meters), only 15 are still standing; the rest were destroyed in a windstorm in 1852.
