Description

Created over the course of 6 years, the 12m-high sculpture of an athlete running at speed by artist Costas Varotsos is constructed from thousands of jagged sheets of glass. It was originally located at Omonia Square in 1994 before being moved to its current location due to construction on the subway station. This striking piece proves to be a dynamic sight full of movement and life.
